Absinthe Essence

Absinthe essence is made from 22 different herbs and spices. Of those, the most well known are star aniseed and Wormwood. We at Gert Strand AB are producing the essence from herbs and spices, and it is a 100% natural product. It is exactly the same essence that we sell to distilleries.

There is natural thujon in the essence, from the wormwood. But one does not go mad from drinking absinthe: it is a myth, spread by the French wine industry to ban absinthe. Once upon a time the whole world believed it.

The absinthe you make is in the top World class. You can even change the flavor by adding more or less essence, sugar, and different strengths of alcohol. On top of this, you save $50 - $100 per bottle. One essence set makes 13 bottles of Absinthe and costs only US$29.
