Q: Your instructions indicate to add sugar when mixing...does one then not drizzle over a sugar cube when serving?
A: It is very little sugar in the recipe, you pour it over a cube of sugar anyway.

Q: Do Absinthe need to be refrigerated or room temperature?
A: Keep in room temperature as star aniseed oil and aniseed oil are so hard to soluble in alcohol, cooling can make them separate out.
Best if you make the Absinthe 60% by mixing with Everclear or similar, always mix with minimum 45% (90 proof) vodka or any neutral alcohol.

Q: Do I get mad or brain damage by drinking this Absinthe?
A: No, its is first of all, maximum 35 mg/700 ml bottle allowed in Germany and else were. Second, that is a myth, made up by the French wine industry. Absinthe taste so great that it once competed out the whole wine industry, who used dirty trix and lobbying to get Absinthe banned, claiming one get mad from drinking it.

Your set consists of one bottle of 280 ml (8.5 fl. oz) Absinthe essence, one measuring cup, and 14 beautiful Absinthe labels. The 280 ml absinthe essence is sufficient to make 14 bottles of 750 ml (25 fl. oz) Absinthe each.

Instructions: Pour 20 ml (0.7 fl.oz) of absinthe essence into a 750 ml (US 25 fl. oz.) bottle. Fill 3/4 full with neutral spirits (Everclear is good) or vodka--45-70% (90-140 proof) of your choice--and shake the bottle until it is mixed. Top up the bottle and shake until the contents have fully blended.

With champagne

Pour 4 cl absinthe into a glass with an ice cube and admire the magnificent colour. Then top off with ice-cold RED BULL®.

Pour 4 cl absinthe in a champagne glass. Add a sugar cube soaked in Angostura bitters ® and fill with sparkling wine (inspired by Hemingway).

Shake 2 cl absinthe, 2 cl apple brandy and 2 cl orange bitters with ice, then strain into a traditional martini cocktail glass. Heat a large ring of orange peel over an open flame until the oil of orange is released, then allow the oil to drip into the glass. Garnish with a ring of orange peel for a great show!
